2.) McDill Airfest Cancelled: The mess over the federal budget has forced the Air Force to cancel the annual AirFest at MacDill Air Force Base. Just minutes after President Barrack Obama formally enacted the budget cuts, the Air Force dumped the popular two-day event that had been scheduled for April 6 and 7. Click here to read more.

3.) Another Sinkhole Opens: After the Seffner sinkhole, the hole that opened at the Largo Mall is small by comparison. This sinkhole is roughly ten feet long and just several feet wide. The hole in the mall's parking lot area shows only about a three feet gap on the surface, but expands underground. Click here to read more.

4.) An Excuse to Get Organized: A Container Store is set to open in Tampa on March 16 at the corner of Westshore Boulevard and Boy Scout Boulevard. Ahhh! I could spend hours in one of these. But remember, it's one thing to buy all the cool gagets to get organized, it's another thing to install them in your house and then organize everything! I learned that the hard way. 5.) I-275 Not Getting Any Better: So I was on my way to Bella's in south Tampa for dinner Saturday night at 7pm, so naturally I jumped on I-275 coming from Bearss. Traffic was fine, until i went under the I-4 interchange. It was bumper to bumper, and unfortunately, It's not going to get any better any time soon.
