In a couple hours all the phone calls, televison ads and campaigning will be over (for another 2 years or so until the next election starts), so make sure you go and make your vote count. Here is a quick guide of what you need to know for Election Day.

Important Info

*Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. If you are standing in line at 7:00 p.m. you will be allowed to cast a vote.

*You will need to provide a current, valid picture identification with a signature. Others you can use: Florida's driver's license, Florida DHSMV identification card, U.S. passport, military identification, student identification, retirement center identification, neighborhood association identification, public assistance identification, and debit or credit card.

*Only U.S. citizens may vote in the State of Florida.

*If you have an Absente Ballot you can still vote at your polling place today. Bring you absentee ballot with you to have a poll worker void it. You will then be allowed to vote using a regular ballot. Click here to find your polling place.

*Remember - you don't have to vote for everything on the ballot.

*Bring your patience with you. You may run into long lines at your polling place. Please be patient and bring a magazine, book or your iPhone/iPad with the iHeartRadio app on it to listen to Mix 100.7 to help you pass the time while waiting in line. Smile
