TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA) - It was March 6th, 2005.
David Neel's pick-up truck crashed into some trees along the I-75 exit ramp onto I-4. When Hillsborough deputies arrived, they found a bullet hole in the driver's side door. The 49-year-old Neel had been struck and killed.
Eight years later, Neel's family wants answers. And they've offered a $25,000 reward for information in the case.
Investigators say it's a tough case. The interstate was busy that morning. Witnesses only noticed Neel's truck crashing, not any bullets being fired. But Debra Neel still hopes that the money will be an incentive for someone to come forward with information.
"You gotta keep trying. And I will keep trying. And our family will keep trying to find that person."
